Springfield Armory’s XD-S Mod.2 offers upgrades from the inside out. A higher hand position, enhanced grip texturing, thinner slide, and an enhanced trigger advance this polymer-framed pistol’s acclaimed “point and shoot†ergonomics. Other features include a loaded chamber indicator.
All the bullets in the world mean nothing if your concealed carry handgun fails when you need it most. The XD-S Mod.2® in 9mm is a less than one-inch wide pinnacle of reliability. 25K rounds without a stoppage and an integral grip safety for total peace of mind when carrying.
The frame on the XD-S Mod.2® was designed around the 9mm round, resulting in a smaller frame and slimmer profile.
The newly designed grip safety immediately readies the gun when gripped, and works with the striker safety to prevent the gun from firing when dropped.
With a frame less than 1-inch wide, the XD-S Mod.2® chambered in 9mm disappears even under the lightest clothing.
